Information you provide

The confidential case inquiry form may collect your first and last name, phone number, email address, company name, street address, city, state, referral source, preferred contact method, and the information you choose to provide about your legal matter. Required and optional fields are identified on the form.

When submitted, the inquiry is delivered through the firm’s Microsoft 365 email system to designated Lama Law Firm personnel. The website does not automatically create an attorney-client relationship, open a client file, or add the information to a marketing list.

Technical information and cookies

The website’s hosting and security providers may process technical information such as an Internet Protocol address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and diagnostic or security events. Cookies or similar technologies may be used when necessary to operate, protect, and deliver the site.

How information may be used

Information submitted through this website may be used to:

• Conduct a conflict check and determine whether the firm can consider a matter.

Information may be processed by service providers that support the website and the firm’s communications, including website hosting and security providers and Microsoft 365. The firm does not sell or rent information submitted through its website.

Payments and third-party websites

The client payment page links to PayPal. Payment-card and bank information is entered directly with PayPal and is not stored by this website. PayPal and other third-party websites have their own terms and privacy practices, which govern the information provided to them.

Confidentiality, security, and retention

Sending information through the website does not establish an attorney-client relationship, and representation must be confirmed by the firm in writing. The firm and its providers use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, but no Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate and respond to an inquiry, maintain records, protect legal rights, and satisfy applicable legal or professional obligations.
